It looks like Olivia Rodrigo may have a new man in her life! Yep, the singer is reportedly dating producer Adam Faze, and we have all the details on their new relationship.
For those who missed it, Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett‘s messy breakup made headlines earlier this year after she wrote most of her debut album, Sour, about him. And now, it looks like she has officially moved on! But wait, who exactly is her new man? How did they even meet? And how long have they been dating? Here’s everything you need to know about Rodrigo’s latest romance…
What Do We Know About Olivia Rodrigo’s New Relationship?

The brunette beauty actually brought Faze as her plus one to the Space Jam 2 premiere party at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California, and according to reports, she introduced him as her “boyfriend” to other event-goers!
“Olivia was in great spirits celebrating Space Jam 2 last night,” a source told E! News. “They were really cute together and weren’t trying to hide their affection at all.”
The pair reportedly went on “all the rides” together, and get this — they were even spotted “holding hands at one point.” Another onlooker described the rumored new couple as “really cute, but not too overly touchy.”
“The two of them together felt comfortable and newish, and it seemed like he also knew a lot of people there,” they told the outlet. “It just felt like comfortable, cuddly, new young love.”
So cute! As for how they met, it’s been reported that they were introduced “through industry friends” a few months ago. Another insider added, “It’s only been a few months but she seems really happy with him and they are definitely dating exclusively and getting serious.”

Who Exactly is Adam Faze?

It turns out, Faze used to work at Forbes Magazine, but now he is a TV, movie and music producer! He founded his own studio and co-owns an independent production company called Must B Nice with his business partner, Jamie Dolan. Most famously, he was behind the TV show Day by Day and he is currently producing a new movie called Who Am I? He has also produced music videos for a few big names, including G-Eazy — talk about impressive.
What Went Down Between Her And Joshua Bassett?

Ever since Sour came out, it feels like almost everyone has been invested in Rodrigo and Bassett’s relationship. For those who don’t know, the two stars met on set of HSMTMTS, and back when they were filming the show in 2019, fans started to notice that they were hanging out a lot when the cameras stopped rolling. They posted a bunch of cute pics together on social media, and naturally, rumors started to spread that they were dating. They never actually spoke out about the relationship while they were together, but fans started to speculate that they had split in the summer of 2020, when Rodrigo posted a video of herself listening to a song that they had written together for the show and wrote, “You think you can hurt my feelings? I wrote this song.”
“And that’s on failed relationships,” she captioned it.
Just a few weeks later, Bassett was spotted hanging out with Sabrina Carpenter (they were photographed getting lunch together), so it appeared that he had moved on. They were also spotted kissing during a Black Lives Matter protest a few weeks later, and in October 2020, they even more coordinated Halloween costumes.
Rodrigo went on to write most of her album about Bassett moving on so quickly and breaking her heart — most famously, the song “Drivers License” was inspired by her relationship with the Disney star. Carpenter even seemingly wrote a track of her own in response to Rodrigo’s songs, called “Skin” — yeah, it was pretty intense.
Months after it all went down, Bassett addressed the whole thing during an interview with GQ. He said that “people don’t know anything they’re talking about” and admitted that “the hardest thing” has been keeping quiet about it all.
“The reality is it’s kind of like a lost cause trying to talk about any of that stuff, and I refuse to feed into any of the bulls**t, so I just don’t,” he explained. “[Everyone] is asking me about Sabrina and Olivia. Why don’t we focus on these women for who they are? Let’s focus on the art that they’re making and how great they are instead of their relationship to a boy.”
Who Else Has She Dated?

Before Rodrigo dated Bassett, the 18-year-old was in a relationship with Ethan Wacker. They first met on set of their show Bizaardvark, and they starting dating in July 2018. They went Instagram official in January 2019 — in honor of their six-month anniversary — and after that, they quickly became couple goals. They definitely weren’t afraid to show off their love since they constantly shared adorable, PDA-filled pics together, gushed over each other online and jetted off on romantic getaways. But in August 2019, news hit the web that they had split. It’s still unclear what went wrong between them or caused them to go their separate ways in the end, but they seem to be on good terms now! How do we know? Well, when “Drivers License” came out earlier this year, Wacker supported it online.
