In her Instagram post this past Sunday, Britney Spears had shown her frustration towards the work she had to put out during her 13-year conservatorship because of her father. It all had to do with the promotional pictures that were taken of her as well as everything that came about with her music videos. Spears recalls very little about the years of hard work that she enjoyed.

From the time she was first placed under the conservatorship to when she was finally released, Spears was expected to keep up a punishing pace of performances that didn't make sense if she was as mentally ill as her father claimed.

Spears May be Done with Performing For Good

She states, “I will be honest in the beginning 13 years of conservatorship like 8 videos I only like one — Work Bitch…the most offensive SO CALLED professional pictures on every tour,” she wrote.

“I mean they could have at least cheated and retouched them for me…just saying…2 day shoots for new show in Vegas literally the worst ever…and me excited for the pictures for 5 months on tour…they never showed me any.… I’d rather quit s--- in my pool and shoot photos of myself in studios over working with the most offensive people in my life.”

The singer also added that she was not happy with the backup dancers that were hired by her team that were going to be onstage with her during her tour.

She says, “I’m pretty traumatized for life and yes I’m pissed as f--k and no I won’t probably perform again just because I’m stubborn and I will make my point.”

Spears also took the opportunity to come for her father, whom she blames primarily for her suffering under the conservatorship.

Spears Enjoying Retirement

Britney's father Jamie Spears had control of the conservatorship from 2008 to 2021, and gave her no creative control over her career or life in general.

Spears concluded her rant with a directive for her father: "Kiss my God d--n motherf--king a--."

This marks the first time since the end of Spears' conservatorship where she has directly addressed her future as a performer.

Since being released from the conservatorship late last year, Spears has taken time to travel the world with new husband Sam Asghari, and they've talked about having babies together after Spears feels the relationship with her two older children was stolen from her. Spears' children, Preston and Jayden, live primarily with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, who has tried to keep the boys out of public scrutiny.

But it could be that Spears is enjoying a more laid-back life and is ready to just sit back and accept royalties. If she's really done with performing, it's a great loss for the world - but a gain for the over-worked pop star who deserves a little peace.
