Jonas Brothers Release 'Rob's Backstage Popcorn' Exclusively at Wal-Mart

If you thought the Jonas Brothers could only dominate the world of music, you're missing out on a world of other talents they possess. It turns out, the Jones Brothers are also excellent restauranteurs – and now, they're popcorn gurus, too. The Jonas Brothers are releasing their own line of popcorn, Rob's Backstage Popcorn, exclusively at Wal-Mart. CELEB is bringing you the details of this fine new snacking option, and how it came to be. It's a sweet story, as you'd expect with the Jonases.

Rob’s Backstage Popcorn

Rob's Backstage Popcorn – it's an interesting name for a popcorn line, especially one being released in Wal-Mart stores. But there's a sweet little history behind it. It all started (yes, backstage) with a friend of the family named Rob Garbowsky, who happens to be the father of Greg Garbowsky; friend, former bass guitarist and current member of the band’s management team.

Rob would make special seasoned popcorn for his family, and began bringing it to share backstage with the Jonas Brothers team. As it turns out – Rob is a magician with popped corn. A blend of sweet, salty and savory, Rob's popcorn was an instant hit with the Jonas Brothers.

In 2021, Rob and the Jonas Brothers founded Rob's Backstage Popcorn and released it direct-to-consumer with EatRobs.com. And now, fans of the delicious snack can buy it at Walmart stores and from Walmart.com for $3.98 a bag. Rob's Backstage Popcorn is vegan, GMO free, gluten-free, and only 50 calories per cup so you can feel good about snacking before hopping on stage to perform for your thousands of admiring fans, just like Nick, Joe and Kevin.

The Jonas Brothers shared their thoughts on the Wal-Mart launch in a statement, "When we first tried the popcorn, we fell in love with it. The unique seasoning was unlike anything we had ever tasted before; it was like home cooking in a bag. After keeping it to ourselves, we are excited to share it with the nation through our collaboration with Walmart who is now offering Rob’s Backstage Popcorn across the country."

And Rob, the popcorn magician himself, adds in a statement, "I never imagined something that started as a snack I would make for my family would end up in Walmart! We are so excited to bring my recipe to families across the country, and hope they love it as much as we do!”

If the Jonas Brothers' ringing endorsement is any indication, we're sure everyone will love it as much as they do.

Nellie’s Southern Kitchen

Of course, the Jonas Brothers themselves are no strangers to cuisine success. The family runs a restaurant called Nellie's Southern Kitchen, and it offers delicious Southern comfort food with that loving family touch. Recently, they expanded their restaurant to include a second location in Las Vegas in the heart of MGM Grand.

Denise Jonas said of the new location in a statement, "One of our greatest joys in life is sharing a meal with those we love. There is always room for guests in our home and around our table. Grandma Nellie was the perfect example of showing this kind of comfort to people!”

CELEB took a look at the planning for their new restaurant when they announced the news in November 2021; "The MGM Grand location marks the second for the restaurant concept. The first sits in the heart of North Carolina, in Belmont. It’s a delightful display of Southern cuisine with a contemporary twist.

Southern cuisine is made to nourish more than the body; it’s crafted to nourish the soul. And the Nellie’s team has taken that mission to heart, crafting a menu that should both comfort and please. Menu offerings include:

  • Chicken and Dumplin’s: No “G” here, this Southern favorite uses dumplings made from scratch.
  • Hawg Hill Plate: Pecan pulled pork and coleslaw make this quintessential Southern dish a blend of savory and sweet. Vegetarians can switch the pork for portabellas.
  • Fried Okra: It wouldn’t be Southern without this staple.
  • Fried Catfish: Served with coleslaw, French fries, and spicy remoulade.
  • Biscuits and Gravy: Although outsiders often cringe at the description of this dish, there’s nothing as savory and satisfying as a biscuit smothered in Southern-style gravy with pieces of sausage throughout.

Plus so much more. It’s Southern food with an upscale twist, and you won’t want to miss it. To check out Nellie's and the Jonas family's homegrown cuisine, visit the website.

5 Nights with the Jonas Brothers in Vegas

While they're busy taking over the food world, the Jonas Brothers are also gearing up for some fun in Las Vegas on stage.

Billboard writes, "The Jonas Brothers are headed back to Sin City! On Tuesday (March 1), the sibling trio announced their new residency, Jonas Brothers: Live in Vegas.

The string of shows will take place from June 3-11 at Dolby Live at Park MGM Las Vegas; tickets for the five dates go on sale March 7 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

'Can’t wait to be back on stage in June with my brothers! See you in Vegas!!' Kevin Jonas wrote alongside a teaser trailer for the residency on his personal Instagram feed, while Nick Jonas chimed in, 'Best way to kick off summer 2022?? With my brothers in Vegas.;”

This marks Take Two of their residency after 2020 saw their first attempt shut down weeks before they were supposed to perform at MGM Grand. It's the perfect time to return. With the launch of Rob's at Wal-Mart and Nellie's headed to the West Coast, the Jonas Brothers will have everything they need and love with them on the road as they call Vegas home for 5 exciting performances.
