Kailyn Lowry Gives Fans Another Peak At New Beau During The 'Teen Mom 2' Reunion Show

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry has been an open book about her personal life since joining the franchise. However lately she's been trying her best to keep one section of her life a secret, her love life. The Coffe Convos podcast host seems to be having a change of heart recently after sharing a photo with her man on Instagram and even letting him say hi to the cameras during the Teen Mom 2 reunion episode.

We’re Sorry But, A Soft What?

Last Tuesday, before the Teen Mom 2 reunion special, Lowry did a "soft-launch" of her new man on Instagram. And for those of you who don't know what that even is, it's basically Lowry sharing with the world that he has a man BUT keeps his appearance out of the picture to keep the mystery alive. Welcome to the world of 2022 where people share their entire lives with the world without actually sharing their entire lives with the world. Yea, we don't get it either. ANYWAYS…

In the photo, Lowry is seen laughing with her hand over her mouth and her new man, well, he is half seen. Scott is in the photo however his back is to the camera and he appears to be wearing a black hoodie and black cap. She captioned the photo, "All good over here." She added in, "What do ya'll think he said to me to make me laugh?"

Not only did the TV personality post him on social media, but she also gushed over him during an episode of Coffee Convos earlier this month, calling him "the one." This comment came after the topic of weddings came up and Lowry revealed having an interest in marriage again.

Lowry told her co-host, "If I ever get married again I'm not having bridesmaids or groomsmen. It's not a day for anyone else but myself and my husband or partner." This instigated her co-host to question, "Wait, is the wedding back on the table?" To which Lowry responded, "I would say yes. I wouldn't have, like, a huge wedding or anything. I feel like I would have a cute, very, very simple ceremony and maybe, like, a dinner afterwards." She continued, "I met the love of my life and I – yeah."

Woah, woah. Back-up. What? Is Scott the one now?

When asked about how she know's Scott is the love of her life, Lowry replied, "So, it's crazy because they say when you know, you just know and that's how I feel. I feel like I've known him for a lifetime. Like, I feel like I have known him forever." The reality star continued, I'm ready. It just feels like we've been best friends forever and now we're just together."

Elijah Scott Makes An Appearance On Camera

Now, when we say "appearance" we literally mean appearance. Co-hosts Dr. Drew Pinksy and Nessa asked Lowry to introduce her boyfriend to which she reluctantly agreed by saying, "Why am I doing this?"

Scott appeared on the screen in a mask which didn't allow us to see his full face, still leaving a bit of mystery. Dr. Drew asked for him and Lowry shut it down right away saying, "no, no. no, no. Don't say your name. Don't you dare." And after a short back and forth Scott left the frame saying, "And that is my cue to go back to the room."

Kailyn Opens Up About Her Depression Diagnosis

During part two of the reunion show Lowry will discuss her battle with depression and her efforts to focus on her mental health. During her interview with the co-hosts she discusses the importance of maintaining healthy boundaries with her exes, one specifically being Javi Marroquin.

Lowry shared, "I see my therapist twice a week. Right now, I think minimizing my communication with Javi is the number one thing I need to stay consistent with because he seems to be a huge trigger for me."

The mom of four also mentioned her Instagram cleanse. Admitting to having unfollowed Nessa and others. Lowry admitted, "I unfollowed every single person that I was following. I was having a meltdown and unfollowed everyone." Her unfollowing of Leah Messer was specifically pointed out to which she replied, "As far as I am aware there are no issues between me and Leah."

During her time on the reunion episode Lowry appeared to be happy and relieved of a lot of stress. Topics about past altercations with her nemesis Briana DeJesus also came up. She responded with grace stating, "At the end of the day, it's another form of projection. You have to distract people from your own insecurities and from your own self hate." Referring to the treadmill being sent to her house, Lowry came to the conclusion, "it distracts her from how she feels about herself," agreeing with Dr. Drew that DeJesus was fat-shaming her.

And, to close out the episode with tears, Lowry announced her farewell from the franchise. When asked if she wanted to stay on the show she responded, "Not necessarily no. I think that I need to move, I need to do my own thing." She concluded with, "I think I'm ready. I think that we should just part way. I think this should be the end."
