Jaelyn filed a lawsuit based off her termination within the field. She also stated that she was going to continue working as a nurse while she manages and posts on her OnlyFans account all because the money that she rakes in is great.

The influencer posted on TikTok to explain that her previous job was taking care of individuals that couldn’t take care of themselves and people who need assistance throughout their daily lives at a skilled nursing facility.

According to Jaelyn, nurses at her job frequently browsed her OnlyFans while she was out taking care of residents.

As a result of the co-workers using their time to ogle Jaelyn's content, employers sent a female employee in to terminate her employment with the company.

“She said that she can’t have that happening every time that I work, so she has to let me go,” the influencer recounted, adding the “main reason for letting me go is because they need a job more than I do.” “Like they paid for my site, so they all could see and look at the nurse’s station while they’re on the clock,” Jaelyn also said.

Fans responded that a lawsuit was past due for the firing.

One fan wrote, “That is 110% a lawsuit … no questions asked,” one user wrote. “Unless it specifically says something in the code of conduct for that employer.” Another follower wrote, “Get a lawyer. You can 100% sue for wrongful termination! YOU WILL WIN! it’s illegal to fire you for that!”

Jaelyn thanked her fans for their endless support, promising to update as the lawsuit moved forward and she continued in her career - well, two careers.

All of this comes as a police officer is embroiled in a lawsuit of her own over a similar situation.

Detroit PD officer Janelle Zielinski resigned her commission after being told that an investigation was being opened into the allegation that she was posting pornographic material to her social media.

The cases for both women prove that there will soon need to be a reckoning over whether or not there is room for adults-only side hustle for professionals. Is what you do on your own time up to you - or should you be held to the behavior standards of your job even when off the clock?

Many professional jobs have a behavior clause that requires employees to conduct themselves appropriately and mindfully of the fact that they represent the company they're employed by, but the idea of OnlyFans being so pervasive among professionals is a relatively new concept.

What happens with the lawsuits for Zielinski and Jaelyn will certainly have a great impact moving forward.
