The hotel's design was, "conceived as a pillar of the city’s renowned floral district," and borrows heavily from the beauty of nature in its execution.

Rooms range from the standard to the sprawling, with an interior design palette in soft creams, golds, white and dark wood touches throughout.

Room options include 250 guestrooms with 19 suites, plus an additional 16 one and two-bedroom penthouse residences.

The design's homage to nature includes floral features throughout the hotel, alongside sleek lines and architectural features that borrow from New York's grid city streets.

Amenities and a Brilliant New Skyline

The NoMad resides in the North of Madison Square Park neighborhood, soaring 50-stories above its surroundings, forever changing the skyline in a breathtaking and artistic way.

The NoMad team shares in a statement, "Rising 500 feet above New York’s streets, the hotel takes its place within the city skyline as one of the tallest buildings in NoMad, the birthplace of American popular music at Tin Pan Alley and today a nexus of art, entertainment, fashion and technology. World-renowned design teams including Rafael Viñoly Architects, Rockwell Group, Lazaro Rosa-Violan Studio, Martin Brudnizki, and SUSSURUS International deliver a bold, contemporary design that pays homage to the hotel’s location in the city’s vibrant Flower District. An impressive art collection by art curator, Culture Corps and Founding Partner Yvonne Force Villareal includes local artists Pat Steir, Ross Bleckner, and Donald Baechler. Seasonal floral installations throughout the hotel create a unique welcome experience for guests visiting the blossoming neighborhood."

On-site amenities include bathroom products by Diptyque, offering the scent called Philosykos in an ode to the fig tree.

  • Zaytinya: An innovative mezze menu and cocktail selection pulling from Turkish, Greek and Lebanese inspiration cuisine. Designed by The Rockwell Group, this restaurant seats 140.
  • Nubelez: On the hotel's rooftop, guests can enjoy the 270-degree view of the Manhattan skyline, offering, "classic and signature cocktails, light bites, and an array of Tablas where guests can build boards of jamon, queso, and embutidos hailing from [Jose] Andrés' native Spain."
  • The Lobby Lounge and Bar: The perfect place to enjoy a light pastry or bite in the morning on your way out the door - or before climbing back into bed for some more pampering. Guests can stop by throughout the day for a rotating timely menu which includes afternoon champagne and a delightful nightcap.

But perhaps most enticing is Chef José Andrés Bazaar, coming later this year. The team says of this upcoming venue in a statement, "This high-end avant-garde dining destination is a wild sensory adventure born of Andrés’ Spanish roots where sophisticated cuisine, artful service, and playful theatrics come together. Each location has its own vision and promises both an inspiring both its culinary experience and dynamic aesthetic. The Bazaar, designed by Barcelona-based studio Lázaro Rosa-Viola, uses painted and natural wood, texturized glass, ceramic tiling, and drapery to create an atmosphere that is warm and distinct."
