Las Vegas is the Entertainment Capital of the World with every kind of fun foolery any one person can imagine. That means everyone, including those racing to stay in shape.
For the fine folks who love to get their run on, we’ve got a pair of headlines that is likely to raise your heart rate.
First, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series of Marathons have set their dates for the Las Vegas portion of the running series and the Health & Fitness Expo. Secondly, they will return to Las Vegas and will take up residence at Resorts World through 2025.
Here is everything you need to know about one of the coolest runs and fitness expos in the country happening February 23-26.
On Your Mark. Get Set. Go!
The partnership between the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series and Resorts World Las Vegas means that runners and their supporters have a super convenient place to start and finish from.
As with years past, runners will have the options of running a half-marathon, 10K or a 5K. All races take place after 4:30pm on either the Saturday or Sunday. The half-marathon and 10K will both take place on Saturday, February 26 and will have runners race down the famed Las Vegas Strip. The 5K will happen on Sunday and will have runners lacing up to compete in the historic downtown area of Las Vegas.
Both spots ensure that regardless of where you run, you have first class entertainment just a hop, skip and jump away. Not only will there be official pre-race parties put on by the TAO hospitality group (Hakkasan, Jewel and Marquee Nightclubs) but there is also a new Saturday Night Concert with other Experiences. This is on top of the numerous spectator parties and other on-course entertainment.
From The Starting Line To The Finish Line
Resorts World Las Vegas will not only be home to the expo experience, they will provide guests and visitors numerous exclusive on-property experiences during the race weekend including: Live streaming of half marathon on the resort’s 100,000-square-foot West Tower LED screen, exclusive transportation for property guests to the mid-Strip start line, Top-notch viewing parties for spectators and race night after parties, offers on recovery treatments at Awana Spa, special offers on race-ready updos from Miss Behave Beauty Salon, discounts and deals at participating Resorts World Las Vegas dining locations and of course special room rates for those coming for the fitness Expo.
“Resorts World Las Vegas proved to be the perfect venue for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Health & Fitness Expo earlier this year, offering runners a location near the racecourse to pick up their bibs and enjoy the variety of vendors and entertainment,” said Scott Sibella, Resorts World Las Vegas President.
