One Teen Mom star had a summer that didn't go exactly to plan. Teen Mom OG Cheyenne Floyd was shot at while driving, and ended up needing surgery.
The revelation answers questions fans had about a seeming medical mystery last month, where Floyd shared few enough details to have everyone worried. The truth is, if possible, even more disturbing.
Cheyenne Floyd Undergoes Surgery After Being Shot At
Floyd's bio on MTV's Teen Mom: The Next Chapter has been updated.
And the bio reveals that fans can expect on this season to see that, "Cheyenne reveals she was shot at while driving her car with her children Ryder and Ace."
The bio continues, "She undergoes surgery for her injury and plans her dream wedding to Zach."
It answers questions fans had after Floyd took to social media last month to post that she was having surgery and needed prayers, but only confirmed that she was "not sick."
At the time, Floyd said on Instagram, "“Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent their prayers. I’ll be able to explain more later right now I am focused on healing," and thanked her fiance Zach Weston for being there through her "worst and most vulnerable moments."
When a fan asked if she was sick, Floyd replied, "I had to have a surgery and I am recovering very well. It’s hard to answer some questions because it will just lead to more questions and I would like to explain everything from the beginning so we just have to wait for [‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’] to air. That will explain everything.”
Although it must have been a terrifying experience, it seems Floyd came out the other side doing well - and fans are relieved to hear that much, looking forward to the debut of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter to see what actually went down.
Cheyenne to Marry Zach Next Month - What a Rollercoaster
Speaking of Zach, it's almost time for wedding bells in the Floyd/Weston house.
The two will be tying the knot in September. For the wedding, photographs by guests are banned to preserve the couple's privacy, and they are requiring black tie fashion from everyone.
The Ashley's Reality Roundup writes, "Cheyenne has previously stated that this will be an adults-only affair, and that the only children present will be her own and her godchildren. The guests will be treated to an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, followed by an indoor reception at the venue.
As The Ashley previously reported, Cheyenne and Zach have created an extravagant wedding gift registry to help guide their guests when they are choosing presents for the happy couple. The couple’s registry includes high-ticket gifts such as $170 marble wastebaskets, a $600 blender and a $200 toaster."
It's unclear whether the big day will be featured on the newest Teen Mom show. Ashley's Roundup adds Floyd's thoughts; "'We are open to it. My parents are not…I have asked that our normal crew can attend our wedding,' she told E! News in May. 'I don’t want them to work that day. I feel like they’re such a big part of our relationship and our family. We want them there to celebrate with us.'”
