‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell disappeared into thin air following the alleged ‘suicide’ death of convicted pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein last year.
Netflix released “Filthy Rich: Jeffrey Epstein“ in May 2020, and the horrifying allegations made in the docu-series have resulted in everybody wanting to know “where is ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell?”
Well, everybody apart from the authorities that is, who seem to be making next to no effort to track down the scandal-plagued former socialite.

The shocking documentary laid bare Epstein’s life and shed light on the depths of his depravity, in addition to including disturbing claims about the extent of ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell’s involvement in the crimes committed by her ex-turned-BFF.
Numerous women bravely shared their stories of being sexually assaulted and abused, raped, and trafficked by Epstein, who preyed on minors and young teen girls, that were oftentimes vulnerable and living in poverty.
Although the details were sickening, they weren’t particularly surprising as Epstein was already known to be a sex offender—having served time in a Palm Beach Florida jail in 2008 after striking a deal and pleading guilty to procuring an underage girl (who was 14) for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute.
Epstein clearly didn’t see the error of his ways however, as he was arrested again in July 2019 and charged with one count of sex trafficking of a minor and one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. The 66-year-old was awaiting trial at the time of his alleged suicide.
What did prove surprising though was the revelation of how integral Maxwell allegedly was in enabling Epstein’s multiple sexual assaults.
‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell reportedly procured up to three girls a day for him to abuse—grooming, coaching and coercing the teens, encouraging them to seek out and recruit other young girls to satisfy Epstein’s insatiable lust, and even allegedly participating in the sexual abuse of victims herself on occasion—in addition to engaging in threatening, verbally abusive and intimidating behavior.
Victim after victim told eerily similar stories about ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell, giving the impression that she and Epstein were some kind of multi-millionaire, less dentally challenged version of Fred and Rosemary West.
(For those lucky enough to have never heard of the Wests they can find out more about the truly gruesome twosome here—word of warning though, it’s not for the faint of heart. ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell & the perspiring prince
Even before the Netflix documentary was released, Ghislaine had come under scrutiny for her ongoing close friendship to a convicted pedophile, especially after the monumentally cringe-worthy Prince Andrew interview that aired on the BBC in 2019.
During the unbelievably painful and jaw-dropping 50-minute-long squirm-fest, Prince William’s uncle revealed he had been introduced to Epstein by his “close friend” ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell, who was dating the über wealthy financier at the time.

That introduction resulted in the 60-year-old royal being accused of having sex with one of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Roberts, who was 17 at the time.
In a sworn deposition, Roberts claims that she was trafficked from the US to the UK with the sole purpose of having sex with the prince—an allegation he vehemently denies, despite a photograph surfacing of him with his arm around Roberts’ waist, taken in the upstairs area of ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell’s Belgravia mansion.
Prince Andrew denied knowing or even ever having met Roberts and went on to try and shoot down her incredibly detailed account of the three times she says they had sex, with ever-increasingly and bizarre rebuttals —including the claim he was “unable to sweat” because he had a “peculiar medical condition” after having been shot at during the Falklands war; that he was dining out at a Woking Pizza Express on the night of the alleged first encounter (a cultural reference any British-born person will totally appreciate), and not knowing where the bar in Tramp is–a London nightclub where he was known to be a permanent fixture back in his “Randy Andy” bachelor days.
To say the interview was a monumental PR disaster would be an understatement. It instantly became a pop culture classic and turned Prince Andrew into the biggest punchline in British royal history.
It was spectacular, trust me:
Despite pretty much nobody with a brain believing a single word that came out of Prince Andrew’s mouth, one thing that was clearly true was how close his friendship with ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell had actually been, right up until late last year when, he claims, they “lost contact”.
Maxwell and Epstein were clearly a match made in…well….. Hell?
Epstein had an endless stream of pretty and vulnerable young girls that he’d personally “tried and trained” himself and was willing to pass them around to other rich, powerful and famous men in order to gain favor and build influential friendships. While ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell ran in all the right circles, she was friends with the highest of the high, the most powerful and rich—courtesy of her background and upbringing.
Pampered & Privileged ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell
Maxwell enjoyed a remarkably pampered and privileged childhood. She was born in France, the youngest daughter of self-made billionaire business tycoon and media mogul, Robert Maxwell.
Despite her French heritage, Ghislaine was raised to be quintessentially British, living with her family in a 55-room mansion in the English countryside, attending the best private schools in the land, and even studying at the prestigious Oxford University.

It’s widely claimed that Ghislaine and her father had an “unusually close” relationship and that she was the favorite of his nine children. According to The Times newspaper, they were so close that Robert Maxwell reportedly banned his daughter from dating or being seen in public with a boy, even after she had started studying at university.
After graduating, ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell went on to become a major player in the British 1980s’ upper-crust social scene, forming a close circle of the super-rich and influential friends. She was a fixture at all of the high-society weddings, fundraisers, and functions at the time, and after her father purchased Oxford United she was awarded the plum role of Director of the football club, at the ripe old age of 23.
It was a tough life.
‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell & her con-man dad
From an outsider’s viewpoint, it would seem like Ghislaine had the perfect life, and a kind, loving and generous father who doted on her.
But, the facade was smashed to pieces in November 1991 following Robert Maxwell’s mysterious death. It was officially determined that the 68-year-old had “accidentally drowned” after falling overboard from his £15 million yacht, which was equipped with a jacuzzi, a sauna, a gym, and even a private disco.
However, the cause of death, and even the question of if he ever actually died at all, became a hot topic packed full of speculation and conspiracy theories, after it was revealed Maxwell was, in reality, a callous and cunning conman and thief, who’d been living a lie.

Over the years, he had stolen hundreds of millions of pounds from various companies in order to fund his ludicrously lavish lifestyle. Just days after his death it was discovered Maxwell had taken £460 million from his employees’ pension fund, and that he was drowning in debt, owing a whopping £49 million to a number of different banks.
Floundering in debt and facing the reality of being publicly shamed over his inexplicable and disgusting thefts, cons and robberies, it was little surprise conspiracy theories quickly started spreading, claiming everything from Maxwell having committed suicide, to him having been murdered, to him faking his death and living it large on a remote luxury private island somewhere.
Poof! Just like that, literally, overnight, the headlines switched from “The Man Who Saved the Mirror [Newspaper]” to “Maxwell: The Robber”.
Adding yet further to the scandal it quickly transpired that two of Maxwell’s sons, Kevin and Ian, had allegedly been complicit in their father’s many crimes.
The brothers were arrested on fraud charges, but their team of highly paid and skilled attorneys ensured that their clients walked away scot-free after an eight-month-long trial.
Kevin promptly filed for bankruptcy, to the tune of £400 million, while ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell fled to New York to start life afresh.
Within weeks she had made her way into another shady and immoral conman’s affections, after becoming part of Jeffrey Epstein’s inner circle.
Let’s Talk About Jeffrey
Maxwell and Epstein instantly became best buddies and went on to have a sexual relationship before deciding it was better to remain just partners-in-crime close friends.
It was a mutually beneficial partnership, with ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell introducing Epstein to a slew of high society pals, flying on his private jet with him, and arranging dinner parties packed full of influential, powerful, and rich guests.
In an interview with the New York Times, a friend of the couple described Ghislaine as being “half ex-girlfriend, half employee, half best friend and fixer.” (She was clearly a multi-dimensional human being).
Meanwhile, Epstein claimed in a 2003 interview with Vanity Fair, that Maxwell was his “best friend”.

Despite displaying a startling number of psychopathic traits, it appears Epstein really did genuinely care for Maxwell—either that or he was, in more likelihood, ensuring she wouldn’t blab about his dirty little secrets—because as part of the unbelievably lax and generous plea deal he struck with prosecutors in 2007, he insisted on a clause guaranteeing “any co-conspirators be granted immunity for all and any other unspecified crimes”.
For whatever reason, Epstein had the back of ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell, but did she have his?
Run ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell Run!
By the time 2019 rolled around, the climate had changed, and even Epstein’s incredible wealth and powerful friends weren’t likely to be able to help get him out of the pedo hole he’d dug himself into, yet again.
Or, maybe they could, because, let’s face it, even self-confessed “pussy grabbers” can still get elected to the highest of the high positions on the world stage.
Either way, ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell wasn’t willing to hedge her bets and hang around to see how it played out the second time around. Girlfriend flew off quicker than a toupee in a category 5 hurricane.
Maxwell was gone, and she hasn’t been seen ion public since (well, not verifiably anyway).
Nice Burgers Shame About The Fries
According to the New York Post, Epstein’s “gal pal” was last spotted shortly after Epstein’s death, chowing down on a burger and fries, washed down with a milkshake, outside of an In-N-Out in LA.
Hmmm…. That seems, erm….likely?!!! (Not)
The Post even ran exclusive photos–that they likely purchased for an extortionate amount of money from some shady A.F. pap agency —purporting to be evidence of the sighting.
Trouble is, it appears that the photos aren’t real. They’re so unreal in fact, we’re surprised you can’t spot Prince Andrew lurking in the background, munching on a slice of pizza.
CelebMagazine asked professional photo editor, Chloe Millar, to take a look at the pics and offer her opinion on their validity—and the verdict’s in—12-0 guilty of photoshopping crimes.
“If you look at the wall and the white area above it, it certainly looks like it’s been photoshopped and not very well,” Millar explains.
“Starting with the white area you can see recurring patterns—which seems to indicate that the clone tool has been used.

“The clone tool takes an area of the photo, remembers and copies it then pastes it elsewhere. The white area has 4 very similar areas that look like they have been repeated to cover something up.”
“Secondly, take a look at the wall, the brickwork looks to have been messed with,” she continues. “The familiar layout of a brick wall that you expect to see is all over the place and inconsistent with how it would look normally. That’s not shoddy bricklaying—that’s shoddy photoshopping.”
“Another noticeable potential editing issue is Ghislaine’s back. There isn’t a sharp outline separating her from the background, as it would in an untampered photo,” Millar says.
“It’s extremely likely that this image has been photoshopped, and she’s been added onto it, or the background has been edited.
“Take a look at the area where she’s sitting on the chair. There is a completely different background than the one in the other photo, this time it continues all the way up her back.
“There are too many inconsistencies with these images to let them pass as un-doctored images,” Millar concludes.
So Where D’ya Go G?
If the images AREN’T real, and ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell ISN’T chilling in Cali, enjoying a Flying Dutchman and Neapolitan (it’s a west coast thing y’all), then where on earth IS she?
Rumored sightings began springing up, placing Maxwell all over the world— from the Brazilian Riviera all the way to Teaneck, New Jersey, and the Massachusetts’ coast.
Meanwhile, The Sun, one of the biggest rivals of the Daily Mirror, the tabloid newspaper that was owned by Robert Maxwell,, has offered a £10,000 reward for information on the whereabouts of Ghislaine.
And yet, still no dice.
Where oh where are you, ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell? More importantly, given the avalanche of accusations leveled against her, and the severity of her alleged crimes, why haven’t cops found her yet?
Do authorities just not care?
The most credible answer to why Ghislaine hasn’t been apprehended comes from an article Vanity Fair ran in November:
“One does wonder exactly what the FBI knows about Maxwell’s involvement in Epstein’s sex trafficking web that the public does not, or whether investigators actually have spoken to her over the past few months, or if an indictment is or is not in the works, given Maxwell’s centrality to the whole thing. (Certainly, someone in the federal law enforcement bureaucracy has to know where she is, right?)

“As Candace Trunzo, the executive editor of the DailyMail.com, put it, “She’s the one missing link, and everybody wants to hear from her.”
Not everybody it would seem though, Candace.
So, is her immense wealth and powerful status allowing ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell to buy a “get out of jail free” card? Or does she have so much incriminating information about people in high places that she’s simply been given a pass?
Well, there’s certainly no sign of any kind of serious manhunt having occurred—if anything it looks like there are zero fucks given when it comes to making ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell answer for the horrendous crimes she’s been accused of.
Money may not buy you happiness, but it sure as hell appears to buy you freedom.”
