Pete Davidson seems to be jumping on the ketamine train. The Staten Island comedian was a surprise guest at Dave Chapelle’s 50th birthday party comedy show on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden. Also, a surprise guest was John Mayer, who sang and did some jokes alongside Chapelle. But Davidson quickly jumped into his rehab material for his act.
Davidson talked about doing many of the “trendy” drugs in rehab used to treat depression. Davidson spoke about even getting a nasal prescription for the medication. Ketamine has been popping up everywhere lately and has even been labeled as the drug of Silicon Valley as it cures depression and possibly opens people up to creativity. If you abuse ketamine, you can risk hurting your bladder or kidneys with ketamine bladder syndrome. Doctors prescribe the nasal spray ketamine as it’s FDA-approved so that people can use it at their homes and not at a facility.
Davidson was in the news this past week after he had split from actress Chase Sui Wonders. Even though the news came out this week, the two broke up months ago. Davidson is now on a stand-up comedy theater tour, and based on the reaction to the Madison Square Garden set, he’s still funny after rehab.
