Pro Bowl Pair: Dalvin Cook Interested in Teaming Up with DeAndre Hopkins in Free Agency

We have seen many star players join forces on the same squad in the NBA, and now the top two offensive free agents in the NFL may follow the same trend.
Free agent running back Dalvin Cook revealed that he would like to team up with wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins if they have the chance.
“I know his mindset,” Cook said on a recent episode of The Adam Schefter Podcast. “I want to go win … as far as going to lift that trophy up, he got the same mindset as me.”
“If we end up on the same roster, that would be something epic for the NFL.”
Cook, released by the Minnesota Vikings, and Hopkins, released by the Arizona Cardinals, have had lessened efficiency in recent seasons.
Nevertheless, both players have put up statistically dominant seasons in the past, with Cook making four Pro Bowl rosters and Hopkins making three All-Pro teams.
If any team seeks to acquire the pair, they will need the cap space to back it up.
It seems far-fetched to project both players heading to the same team solely because of financial restraints, but crazier things have happened in the NFL.
