Qatar Airways Debuts Interesting New Look

As you probably know by now, the hottest summer must-have isn’t a pair of chic Versace shades or the newest Lisa Marie Fernandez bikini.

This summer’s iconic look is all about the PPE and several international airlines have stepped all the way up to outfit their crew with some serious safety looks.

Qatar Airways, the Doha-based airline owned by the Qatar government is the first to mandate its cabin crew to wear full-on hazmat suits on all future flights. The serviceable airline flies to some choice locations and thanks to its Oneworld Alliance membership operates codeshares with a number of popular airlines, meaning it sometimes teams up with other airlines to service certain flights and destinations.

Since air travel is all about safety and comfort, we certainly commend the airline for taking the extra step to ensure health and wellness aboard the aircraft, however….the look could use a bit of a style upgrade. We are absolutely ready to fly to London, or Perth or Addis Abbaba (all on the Qatar Airways map) but the haz-may suit might be overdoing it, just a bit.

What do you think about Qatar Airways new look?
