June 24 is the big day. Resorts World throws open its doors, and people can finally explore the city-within-a-city, and all its myriad offerings. From dining options that bring together the best in the world, to the casino, top-tier accommodations, and a variety of entertainment offerings that have something for everyone, the Resorts World experience is going to be an entire vacation on a single campus. In order to celebrate the upcoming Grand Opening, Resorts World rolled out their own red carpet—in the form a Rolls-Royce parade down the Vegas strip. The long-anticipated resort and casino also recently announced details about the unparalleled gaming experience that guests can expect on the property.

The Rolls-Royce Parade

Michael Fux Rolls Royce

Tuesday, the Vegas Strip saw something unique—a parade of bespoke Rolls-Royce cars, gliding past Resorts World. The sleek, futuristic cars came in a variety of colors, combining flash and elegance in one. It was all for Resorts World, a parade to remind the world that the integrated resort is rolling into town in less than 10 days—June 24 is not far away.

In the parade, nine of the cars were commissioned pieces of art from the world-renowned Michael Fux collection, as well as two one-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce Phantoms, in Resorts World Red. The Phantoms will serve as house cars for the Crockfords Las Vegas, LXR Hotels & Resorts.

The parade was helmed by Resorts World execs who enjoyed their time behind these luxurious vehicles, and began at the South end of the Vegas Strip. The resort shared in a statement, “the vehicles driven by Resorts World Las Vegas executives were escorted by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as they made their way down Las Vegas Boulevard. The parade concluded at the resort’s main porte cochère before being displayed inside the resort, where they will be viewable for guests’ enjoyment for 30 days beginning on June 24.”

Cars from the Michael Fux collection include:

  • 2008: ‘Fux Yellow’ (Phantom Drophead Coupé)
  • 2010: ‘Fux Red Candy’ (Phantom Drophead Coupé)
  • 2010: ‘Fux Arctic White’ (Ghost)
  • 2011: ‘Fux Purple Candy’ (Phantom Drophead Coupé)
  • 2014: ‘Fux Aequus Green Jade Pearl’ (Wraith)
  • 2015: ‘Fux Intense Jade Pearl’ (Phantom)
  • 2016: ‘Fux Blue Candy’ (Dawn)
  • 2017: ‘Fux Fuxia’ (Dawn)
  • 2018: ‘Fux Fuxia Pearl’ (Phantom)
  • 2019: ‘Fux Orange’ (Cullinan).

The Michael Fux collection has been curated in an effort to draw attention to the Michael Fux Foundation, which provides help to at-need children who are undergoing medical treatment. Fux announced that a Vegas chapter of the foundation is being established.

Resorts World Gaming—The Best of the Best

More news from Resorts World this week includes details on the gaming experience guests can expect. Resorts World has partnerships with Konami Gaming, Sightline, NRT Technology, Genesis Gaming, and is IGT Power Las Vegas’ Most Technologically Advanced Casino. Resorts World is the first resort and casino built from the ground up on the Strip in more than a decade, and this floor-to-ceiling fresh start has allowed the resort to create the most technologically advanced and immersive experience guests can find anywhere.

The resort offers 117,000 square feet of gaming space with over 1,400 slot machines, 117 table games, a dedicated poker room with 30 tables, plus high-limit areas and a sportsbook. The technology and integrated capabilities are unrivaled in the casino world, and offer guests advantages like a mobile app which connects them digitally to the gaming experience, allowing payment for any of the on-floor games from the palm of their hand with JOINGO tech.

Guests will be able to use cashless wagering and a combination of their integrated app technology and a loyalty card to move funds without needing physical cash on hand. A statement for the experience shared, “The vision for GamingPlay is to provide seamless capabilities to load their wallet in three ways, by depositing cash at one of the NEO Kiosks provided by NRT Technology, a global leader in enterprise payment systems for casinos, or at the player services desk, or by enrolling in Sightline’s Play+. Play+ will allow guests to connect to external funding sources like a bank account, credit, debit or PayPal account, and load their GamingPlay wallet. This solution will offer guests the flexibility to transfer funds in and out of their GamingPlay wallet and linked Play + account and will provide the convenience of transactions without leaving their seat or standing in lines. Guests also have three different ways to input and present their loyalty card on the casino floor, including a physical loyalty card, digital loyalty card, or entering their phone number at any slot machine. NRT Technology will also be an integral part of the Genting Reward through solutions including rewards powered by OfferCraft, QuickTouch loyalty sign-up kiosks and more.”

Seamless Integrations Between Tech and the Physical World

Resorts World Konami

Partnerships between RWLV, Konami, and Genesis gaming have provided a top-of-the-industry collaboration that will give guests everything they need to enjoy their time on the casino floor. A statement further goes on to explain, “When the next-generation casino opens next week, guests will be able to test their luck at a variety of table games including blackjack, craps, roulette and more. Resorts World Las Vegas partnered with Genesis Gaming, the only comprehensive solutions provider in the table games industry, to provide the digital table games experience with RFID bet tracking, Perfect Pay at baccarat tables, and Ticket-in-Ticket out (TITO) at the tables.

Resorts World Las Vegas will be the first casino resort to introduce “Smart Table,” which will use RFID embedded chips for every dollar denomination to provide 100 percent accuracy of guests’ gaming activity. This innovative and ground-breaking solution ensures guests receive the most accurate recognition through the resort’s loyalty program.

TITO at the table will allow guests to conveniently move from slots to tables or vice versa by simply using the cash-out vouchers. This capability will eliminate the need to find a ticket redemption center to exchange the voucher for cash and then go to the table to buy in. The resort will also introduce Perfect Pay at baccarat tables which, in addition to player tracking, provides technology that will allow guests to place additional wagers, such as insurance and Lucky 6 side bets. This solution adds another level of excitement for baccarat players.”

Battle of the Grand Openings

Virgin Hotels Richard Branson

Whether you’re headed to Resorts World to partake of the luxurious accommodations, dig in to dining, or take a spin across the expansive and fully-integrated casino, Resorts World is a vacationer’s haven. The bar is set very high for the city-within-a-city, coming just weeks after the Grand Opening for Virgin Hotels. The newest property opened for the Richard Branson-created Virgin line, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas made everything bigger than life for their opening weekend June 10 to 13, including a huge party to celebrate the opening of Elia Beach Club, a first-of-its-kind Mediterranean day party nestled in the Vegas dunes. Christina Aguilera and Flo Rida rocked the stage at Virgin, and an exciting entertainment lineup was announced for the hotel’s reimagined Theater.

But RWLV is prepared to hold its own. Resorts World has been like a juggernaut, chugging along with announcements one after the other for the past year, each one building more hype and excitement for the days to come. This summer’s massive Grand Opening parade is proving that Las Vegas has completely recovered from the difficulties of 2020, and 2021 is a year of rebirth, hope and parties as far as the eye can see.
