Ex-RHOC Star Peggy Sulahian Claims Kelly Dodd Bullied Her and Used Ethnic Slur

Peggy Sulahian is taking a stand against Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Kelly Dodd.
Three years after Kelly starred alongside Kelly in a full-time position on the Bravo reality series, Peggy accused her ex-co-star of bullying her on the show and said she even used an ethnic slur against her.
Peggy Claims Kelly Called Her ISIS
“[Kelly] bullied me a lot … she even called me ISIS,” Peggy said during a September 1 interview on Bravo Confessionals, as reported by All About the Real Housewives.
According to Peggy, she recorded Kelly slamming her as “ISIS” during a cast trip to Iceland, which was seen during an October 2017 episode of the show. So, even though the shocking diss didn’t air on the series, Peggy claims she has solid proof of what Kelly said.
“They asked for the tape, and I had recorded them in Iceland, I’m not dumb,” Peggy shared. “I saw them giggling, laughing, it was Tamra [Judge], Meghan [King Edmonds] and Shannon [Beador].”
Although Peggy wasn’t in the room with the ladies of the show at the time that Kelly’s comment was made, she was able to hear the statement after deciding to return to Shannon’s room after telling them she was headed back to her own suite.
“They were in the room, and I had gone back to my room,” she said. “At that point, I couldn’t handle it or take it. Like my nerves were bad, and I was not concentrating. So, I went to the room, and I heard them laughing and knew the only way I could have proof of it without my words was to have proof of this.”
While Peggy led her co-stars to believe she was exiting their cast gathering, she predicted they would begin talking badly about her once she left and came back ready to make her recording.
“So I was outside the door. I have three sections of them laughing at me and [Kelly] calling me ISIS, and I have the tape, and I have proof,” Peggy confirmed.
As “Real Housewives of Orange County” fans may know, Peggy lives in Southern California but hails from Kuwait. So, when it comes to Kelly’s ISIS diss, the comment was a clear dig at her roots.
Kelly Brought President Trump Into An Argument
Peggy went on to reveal that Kelly actually brought President Trump into one of the arguments they had during filming.
“You know what made me stand up is she said, ‘I’m gonna Trump you, I’m gonna Trump you,’” she continued. “And the funny thing is I didn’t know what Trump was. So I turned to Shannon and was like, ‘Why is she talking about the president?’ She didn’t know either, to be honest with you.
Peggy Says Kelly Was Drinking A Lot
At the time of their debate, Peggy recalled that Kelly had drank a lot and began to curse at her while questioning her about how she was able to graduated from UCLA. Peggy then pointed out that while Kelly attempted to further her education at UCLA, she was unable to get into the school.
“She tried to get into UCLA a couple of times, and she didn’t,” Peggy alleged.
Although Peggy and Kelly got into a number of arguments during their time together on The Real Housewives of Orange County, the most hurtful argument for Peggy likely involved her father. As she explained, Kelly once told her that her dad would “beat up” Peggy’s father, who had died just prior to the comment being made.
The day after their argument, Peggy was so upset that she did not make it to filming.
“I didn’t care; I couldn’t breathe when I went into the room,” she admitted.
Sulahian Wishes the ‘RHOC’ Cast Well
While Peggy didn’t have the best time on the reality series, she said during her interview on Bravo Confessionals that she wishes well to her former cast mates and hopes to see more diversity on the show as it continues.
“I wish them well even though Tamra’s talking sh*t about me everywhere saying that I need subtitles,” she said. “I’m Armenian, I’m proud of my accent, and the reason why you see subtitles is because Bravo asked for Armenian and they wrote it down on the bottom. Why shouldn’t everyone know that we’re Armenian and have a different diversity? And that’s what I wanted too, to put Armenians on the map. They didn’t know our culture; they didn’t know anything about us. [But] if you want to insult me, I can insult you, but it’s going to be very hurtful, very hurtful.”
Tamra Judge Recently Slammed Peggy Sulahian’s Accent
While appearing on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast earlier this year, Tamra took aim at Peggy by suggesting she should have never been cast on the show because she isn’t easy to understand.
“Anyone you have to subtitle should not be on the show. That’s what I feel,” Tamra stated. “If you can’t understand what they’re saying, that’s difficult.”
Although Tamra didn’t believe Peggy should have been on the show, she told David that she thought Peggy was a nice person. She then noted that when it comes to making a good reality series, it takes a “certain personality” to make it work.
”I think she was nice, but I just don’t think she was good TV. It does not mean you’re a horrible person, it just takes a certain personality,” Tamra explained.
Tamra No Longer On ‘RHOC’
In January of this year, just one day after Vicki Gunvalson announced she would not be appearing on any further seasons of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Tamra announced that she too was leaving the show.
“It’s been a wild 12 years. But it’s time for me to move on. I’m sad to go but very excited about my future. Love you guys,” she wrote in an Instagram statement at the time.
As for Vicki, she shared a much lengthier statement on her own Instagram page.
“I will always be the OG of the OC, but it’s time to say goodbye to The Real Housewives of Orange County. It’s been an incredible ride for 14 years and I want thank all of you for your support, for your love and for ‘whooping it up’ with me along the way,” Vicki wrote. “I’ve been working on new projects that will be exciting, empowering and inspirational. My podcast with Westwood One will be launching soon and I will have much more to say about this on ‘Whoop it up with Vicki.’ I hope you will join me with my new journey so please stay tuned. I love all my fans, and I want to thank Bravo and Evolution for this incredible experience which my family and I have will never forget.”
Following their sudden departures from the series, which came after they were each offered reduced roles on the show, Tamra and Vicki announced that they were working on their own series. However, at the current time, there have been no official announcements made in regard to when and where their potential new show will air.
The 15th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County begins airing October 7 at 10 p.m. on Bravo.
