The highly-anticipated third round of the Wilder vs Fury fight made the city of Las Vegas an even bigger celebrity magnet than usual this past weekend. When they weren’t catching the action at T-Mobile Arena, San Diego Padres first baseman, Eric Hosmer, and fiancée/news personality, Kacie McDonnell, were found downtown, specifically at Circa Resort and Casino – the newest property on Fremont Street Experience, and one of Eric’s favorite hangouts.
Eric stepped into the MLB spotlight ten years ago with the Kansas City Royals where he won a World Series Championship in 2015, and played with the team until he became a free agent in 2017. The multiple award-winning first basemen kicked off his eight-year contract with the San Diego Padres in early 2018. At that time, it was the largest contract in the Padres franchise history, and the rest is… well, history.
His lovely fiancée, Kacie, has been a television personality for eight years, and now hosts the popular show, Mansion Global on Fox Business. Almost exactly one year ago, the beautiful couple announced their engagement to all their friends, family and fans.
As soon as these two set foot in Circa’s decked-out stretch limo, they knew they made the right decision when it came to their weekend itinerary. Kacie made it a point to whip out her phone and document the VIP experience to her Instagram story. As the couple’s lavish ride came to an end, they headed into the brand new casino and down to Barry’s Downtown Prime. This elegant steakhouse is known to regularly serve the biggest names in television, music, sports, etc. Those who frequent Barry’s Downtown Prime know that the ambience is like no other, and the service is nothing short of spectacular.
Celebrity chef/co-owner/namesake, Barry S. Dakake, had the pleasure of personally cooking and preparing the entire meal for Eric and Kacie (from the array of appetizers, all the way to the sweet desserts).
To their surprise, they were seated near Las Vegas Raiders guard, Jermaine Eluemunor, who was enjoying his second trip to the acclaimed steakhouse. He and Eric got caught up talking about sports, of course.
After dinner, Eric and Kacie took a thorough tour of the gorgeous downtown property. They witnessed the length of Mega Bar, the longest bar in Nevada, spanning 165 feet. Circa CEO/owner, Derek Stevens, was enjoying his evening at the record-breaking bar, and had a nice chat with Eric and Kacie. Mr. Stevens also ran into boxing icon, Thomas Hearns. Though it looks like the business man and the boxer are going toe-to-toe, it’s all in some good Saturday night fun.
From there, Eric and Kacie only walked a couple of steps before laying their eyes upon the world’s largest sportsbook, Circa Sports. Their 78 million-pixel screen and 3-story height speak for themselves. Then, they traveled up Circa’s extra long escalator and landed at Stadium Swim – an outdoor pool amphitheater that is truly one-of-a-kind. Stadium Swim includes 6 pools, 30 cabanas, 2 swim-up bars, a whopping 143-ft. diagonal screen, and so much more.
As the fun-packed Circa experience came to an end (for now), the engaged couple concluded the evening with a date night at a Vegas comedy club.
From the high-energy bars, to the top-notch restaurants, to the groundbreaking pool and sportsbook, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Circa Resort & Casino attracts all kinds of famous faces on a weekly basis!
