Sebastian Maniscalco has been dubbed "the hottest comic in America" by The New York Times.
With a unique style that sets him apart from other comedians, Maniscalco is a superstar who took the comedy world by storm, and he's coming soon to a Netflix near you – and Las Vegas, while he's at it.
Here's the details about his upcoming shows and why you won't want to miss these laughs.
Las Vegas and Netflix – Match Made in Heaven
Maniscalco announced a Las Vegas residency recently, running October 8 and 9 in the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas.
And now, Maniscalco has added two more shows on September 17.
But the two shows in September are extra special, because they'll be used to film an upcoming Netflix special. This marks Maniscalco's return to Netflix and first special since Stay Hungry in 2019.
It’s been a long time since I can recall a comedy special really staking a claim in Las Vegas and making it a spectacle. We’re going to class it up – a night to dress up, go out and see a show, Rat Pack style. So, grab your date, toast a martini to comedy or just come celebrate to not taking life too seriously for a night.
The Vegas event is going to be spectacular, as Maniscalco shares his unique, observational comedy with audiences, hot off his Nobody Does This Tour.
Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Wednesday July 13 using code NOBODY. Public ticket sales begin Friday July 15 at 10AM PDT.

It’s a Busy Year for Maniscalco
Maniscalco has been busy, probably because his comedy resonated so well with people during the pandemic – a time when other comedians struggled to connect with audiences. His multi-generational, honest, real-life comedy doesn't need an edgy schtick or offense to make people sit up and laugh – he just has to take his own personal comedy brand and let it fly.
Earlier this year, Maniscalco returned to New York City to sell out Madison Square Gardens – again.
The 49-year-old comedian also performed before sold-out crowds at Barclays Center, UBS Arena and Prudential Center.
And soon, he will be returning to the big screen. High-profile films coming soon include:
- Spinning Gold: A captivating Neil Bogart biopic, Maniscalco will appear as legendary producer Giorgio Moroder alongside stars Michelle Monaghan, Wiz Khalifa, Jason Derulo and more.
- Somewhere in Queens: It's a drama, it's a comedy – it's a dramedy. Maniscalco stars alongside Ray Romano, also the writer and director, and Laurie Metcalf.
- About My Father: This movie reunites Maniscalco with Robert DeNiro for a film loosely based on the comedian's life.
Part of what makes Maniscalco so successful is his agility and versatility – but also his self-awareness. The New York Times wrote of him in 2019, "In his comedy, Maniscalco alternates between strutting confidence and silly hamming, but offstage, he is sober and self-critical. He sounds disappointed in his performance at Madison Square Garden, saying he was tired, disconnected. He is similarly harsh about his recent appearance on 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' opposite Jerry Seinfeld. 'I was too passive and I looked like hell,' he said."
It's a drive to always perfect that makes him so singular. Every move and every joke is carefully crafted to connect to the audience. His movements, taps, and on-stage acting-out draws viewers in and for the duration of a show – they can let go of the stress of their day to day and let him take the wheel.
Maniscalco's extended residency in Vegas is sure to bring more sold-out crowds, but if you can't make it to Sin City – never fear. Netflix has you covered.
