Six Senses Crans-Montana Will Take You Over the Mountains and Through the Woods

Switzerland; when you think of it, what comes to mind? Is it soaring mountains, snowy peaks, relaxing among the clouds, skiing, hot springs, and wood-beamed chalets?

You're in luck. At Six Senses Crans-Montana, you can experience all of that and more. Nestled between the Swiss Matterhorn to the left and 4-Vallées range to the French Mont Blanc massif on the right, Six Senses is the kind of mountain vacation or residence you can dream of – and now, can make a reality.

Your Stay

Coming this December, Six Senses offers vacation rooms and residences to fit your every need.

With 45 terrace rooms and one- and three-bedroom suites surrounded by pine forest and breathtaking mountain slopes, every room is like its own mini-vacation before you even step foot outside.

And speaking of outside – each room is built on a premise of blending the luxurious interior with the beauty of the outdoors, with a light and airy feel, huge bay windows and private terraces to take your morning coffee.

Materials such as quartzite stone, local larch, oak, and slate combine to give the lodge an earthy, elegant feel as room decor combines a variety of textures with sleek hard wood accents.

Food

You can't indulge your senses without some vittles, and at Six Senses Crans-Montana you'll want to try Byakko.

The Six Senses team playfully refers to this dining option as, "Japanese dining with a roar," but that's exactly what you'll find.

The team explains in a statement, "The spirit of Byakko – Japan’s mythical white mountain tiger – will be brought to the table at the signature restaurant through dishes such as Hoba Miso, hot stones, sushi and fish, grilled meats, and hotpots with Japanese influences. The bar will mix exotic and daring sake blends and cocktails with aphrodisiac herbs ready for pick-me-up lunches and live music nights. The all-day dining brasserie, Wild Cabin, with panoramic views from the large open terrace, serves classic Swiss fare with a twist."

At Six Senses you'll have other dining options including another on-site restaurant, and in-room.

Feelings

While staying at Six Senses Crans-Montana, you may want to hit the slopes and explore the natural beauty of the Swiss mountains, or you may want to curl up next to a fire and enjoy the solitude that comes from being warm inside while snow softly blankets the world around you.

But at the end of the day, you should pamper yourself – after all, you've earned it. The Six Senses Spa spans nine treatment rooms, an innovative Stretch Pod (fascia never felt so good), state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a yoga studio across over 21K square feet.

Water-related activities to get your body moving or soothe your aches include a large indoor pool leading to the outside, a second rooftop swimming pool, steam, hammam, hot tub, and cold plunge pool.

And the year-round resort offers delightful warm-weather activities too, including Severiano Ballesteros; an 18-hole, Jack Nicklaus 9-hole, and Crans-sur-Sierre golf club.

From the room to the property to the natural setting and everything in between, Six Senses offer whole-body, mind and spirit wellness that will turn your vacation into an experience.
