Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green met on the set of Hope & Faith in 2004. At the time, Fox, 36, was only 18 years old. The pair had a bit of a rollercoaster relationship from the start. They became engaged in 2006 but called off the wedding in February 2009. However, by 2010 they were back on and married by June of that same year. They share three boys, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey who were born in 2012, 2014, and 2016. It wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies during that time though.
In August 2015 the Transformers actress filed for divorce from Green although, they managed to rekindle their love and be together for another 6 years before officially calling it quits FOR GOOD.
The exes have remained kind, in fact, Green explained during a 2020 episode of his podcast, “Neither one of us did anything to each other.” Continuing, “She’s always been honest with me and I’ve always been honest with her. And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family, what we have built is really cool and really special. So we decided let’s make sure we don’t lose that. That no matter what we’re always friends with each other and we’re a united front with the kids.”
And, Green proves that sentiment to be true as he shares positive support towards Fox amid her breakup drama with her fiance Machine Gun Kelly, also known as MGK.
Brian Austin Green Supports From A Distance
A source revealed to Us Weekly that Green has “no opinion” about Fox and MGK. They added, “Brian is grateful he’s in a really good place with Megan and supports her no matter what.”
The source continued to share that the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum is staying out of her private life because it’s none of his business and doesn’t concern him. When it comes to Megan, his only concern is the boys they share.”
Green himself has since moved on with Sharna Burgess. The couple were partners on season 30 of Dancing With the Stars and welcomed a son in June 2022 who they named Zane.
A Fight As Big As The Super Bowl
At the time of the Super Bowl, a source revealed to Us Weekly that MGK and Fox has a blowout fight in Arizona. The source explained, “She was supposed to go to his performance at the Sports Illustrated party, but they had a fight and she canceled plans and flew out Saturday evening.”
Another insider to the duo’s relationship says that they experience “this type of drama” often. “It is really a communication issue that they need to work through and that is why they are going to counseling,” they explained.
Fans initially learned of the drama when Fox uploaded a series of photos of herself as well a video that featured an envelope being burned in a fire pit. She captioned it with lyrics from Beyoncé‘s 2016 album lemonade (famous for exposing infidelity) which wrote, “You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath.”
Her followers instantly swarmed to this with comments assuming that Kelly was unfaithful to Fox. One wrote, “He probably got with Sophie.” To which Fox replied, “Maybe I got with Sophie,” alongside a fire emoji.
The pair were later spotted together on Valentine’s day, seemingly trying to reconcile their love.
