Teen Mom Briana DeJesus Drops Big Pregnancy News: It's 'baby time!'

The Teen Mom universe is growing again after one star announced the impending arrival of a new bundle of joy.

Briana DeJesus took to social media to share the message that it's "Baby time" but there's more than meets the eye with this announcement.

Baby, Baby, Baby? No

On an Instagram story last week, DeJesus shared on social media, "baby time!" with an image of baby Air Jordans and a positive pregnancy test.

But it wasn't her own pregnancy she was announcing.

DeJesus was sharing the big news of her forever BFF – Shirley Burgos.

Burgos made the announcement earlier that same day, sharing the shoes and test image, with the caption,

"Baby M.:

Limited Edition: 1 of 1

Release Date: 11/10/22

Gender: Unknown

This was Emanuel’s first pair of Jays. OG 12s released in 1997 so it’s only right to break them out for his younger sibling."

In the comments of Burgos' announcement, DeJesus shared her joy and excitement about the new baby in her life, writing, "Verified

My baby is having a babyyyyyy❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I love you."

This baby # 2 for Burgos, who appeared on Teen Mom as a supporting cast member alongside DeJesus.

DeJesus herself has two daughters. Younger daughter Stella (dad Luis Hernandez) was born in 2017, and older daughter Nova (dad Devoin Austin) is now nine.

The Party That’s Going to Rock – the Teen Mom Boat, That Is

While her BFF is gestating, DeJesus is busy creating a baby of her own – a baby that takes the form of drama, that is.

DeJesus was sued by former castmate and enemy Kailyn Lowry for defamation. DeJesus claimed that Lowry beat her ex baby daddy, Chris Lopez – who DeJesus has since struck up a friendship with.

Lowry sued, and brought her a-game to court expecting to walk away with a victory.

But DeJesus filed an anti-slapp motion, her lawyer claiming that what DeJesus said fell within her First Amendment rights and she couldn't face legal recriminations for it.

The judge overseeing the lawsuit ended up dismissing the case in DeJesus' favor, leaving Lowry out the cost of her own defense and possibly more.

DeJesus is looking to recoup around $120K in court costs from Lowry, and she may well win that case.

In addition, DeJesus announced that she would be throwing a party to celebrate her victory over Lowry, and inviting some fellow Teen Moms along to celebrate.

While some fans understand the desire to celebrate after the dark cloud of a legal case hanging over her for months, others are skeptical and believe it's trashy to rub her victory in Lowry's face.

Although to be fair – it hardly seems like anything either of them does will make the other loathe them more, so why not?

According to The Ashley, DeJesus plans to host the party in Florida and it's unclear which Teen Mom stars will be joining – and which won't want to touch it with a 10-foot pole.
