DeBoer’s Instagram is full of a slice of Americana. Whether it’s a selfie looking like she walked off a fashion magazine cover, a sweet picture of her children, or a bucolic shot of life on the farm, her social media is somewhat of an island of calm in a sea of Teen Mom chaos. The most recent charming video was shared Monday to Cole’s Instagram stories,which definitely looks like the more masculine mirror to Chelsea’s Instagram. Five-year-old Watson and three-year-old Layne, the two children she shares with husband Cole, looked adorable in their coats as they played with and fed the goats.
Chelsea also took viewers over for a look at Steve, the family’s highland cow, before showing Chelsea looking picture perfect somehow in sweats in front of their new home. Fans can soon expect a lot more of a look at the pair’s fashion and house design sense, as they recently announced that they would be hosting their own design show.
The Sun reports, “Last month, Chelsea and Cole took their interest in construction and design to a professional level as they announced their new HGTV show, Farmhouse Fabulous.
The series, set to debut in 2023, will follow the couple as they help families renovate their homes.
‘Chelsea and Cole are spirited young entrepreneurs breaking ground in the home renovation business,’ the SVP of Programming & Production, Betsy Ayala told Deadline.
‘We’ll showcase their optimism and youthful creativity throughout the series and we’re sure their 8.6 million Instagram followers will love every minute of it!’”
The New Farm House
Speaking of that new house, it’s been met with mixed reviews by fans. Cole and Chelsea used his construction know-how and her design sense to build their dream farmhouse in Sioux Falls a few years ago, and recently completed the new farmhouse which was featured in this week’s video.
The house has its own Instagram account, but the overall vibe of it may leave something to be desired for many. The house itself is painted black, and a picture shared on the Instagram account is titled, “this is your sign to paint your house black.” But fans were quick to point out that the black aspect of the paint makes it looked shadowed and one-dimensioned, taking away from the interesting architectural details throughout.
However, no one could find something to complain about inside – as the interior decor is immaculate, an artful blend of farmhouse charm and carefully applied neutrals and shades.
It’s the perfect place to raise their little family, and roomy enough for all three children when Aubree is along as well.
