Law enforcement officials are currently on the lookout for her 14-year-old son, Jace, the son of “Teen Mom” star Jenelle Evans, who has been reported as a runaway. The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department has issued an alert for the juvenile, sparking efforts to locate him.
According to deputies, Jace was last seen leaving school around 2:45 on a Tuesday, sporting a gray sweatshirt with the words “Classical Charter Schools of America.” There’s also a possibility that he might have changed into a navy shirt since then. Residents in the area are urged to contact 911 if they have any information about his whereabouts.
The reason behind Jace’s decision to run away remains unclear. In a conversation with Jenelle’s mother, Barbara, she shared that she had spoken to Jace the previous Monday night, and he appeared to be in good spirits. Barbara also reached out to Jenelle on Tuesday, as she has been involved in a public feud with her husband, David Eason. However, Jenelle reportedly expressed her desire not to talk and requested privacy.
Earlier in March, Jenelle was granted full custody of Jace by her mother, Barbara. Barbara had previously been the custodian of Jace during his younger years, a period when Jenelle was grappling with personal and legal challenges that prevented her from providing the necessary support.
