Teen Mom's Jordan Howard already had three kids, but her family expanded by 2 this month after the now-mom-of-5 announced the arrival of twins. Howard and husband Tyler Zeplin shared the happy news on social media, with a not-so-humble brag about how Howard brought them earthside. It's a sweet continuation of a love story gone right – a rare sight in the Teen Mom world these days.
From 3 to 5 in a Single Day
The first announcement that the babies had arrived came in the form of a single triumphant picture. In it, Howard is reclining in a hospital bed with her brilliant blue hair, cradling two perfect babies. One is wearing a pacifier and a newborn cap, and the other has two bows. It's the perfect introduction to the world; sleeping newborns in their proud mother's arms. Howard captioned the image, "I did it! no epidural!"
Later, Howard shared a collage of three images showing the babies sleeping peacefully – one image of the pair together, and two single images of each baby. Howard wrote, "Khloe Star and Zoey Blue Zeplin #Twins."
Another image collage showed pictures of the babies being introduced to the family, including grandma and three older siblings. Howard wrote, "this is how my weekend went <3."
And just yesterday, Howard shared an image of the babies – ostensibly at home – in matching red pajamas, engaging in their favorite activity together: sleeping. The pair are side by side, with their faces turned away; almost perfect mirror images.
It's been a whirlwind few months for fans, as Howard only announced that she was pregnant back in February.
The Sun writes, "In February, she posted sonogram photos to her Instagram.
'I'm having 2 girls April 2nd! #Twins ! 32 weeks,' she shared at the time."
And now, before you blink, they're already here. It's a sweet new chapter in the live of the now-family-of-7. Howard, an OG to the Teen Mom world after she appeared on 16 & Pregnant, has long been a fan favorite for her stability and family-oriented focus.
A Look Back at Jordan’s Wedding
Fans have celebrated with Howard at almost every milestone along the way. Back in 2015, they got to ride along through social media and see her marry long-time love Tyler Zeplin.
InTouch Weekly reported at the time, "The bride, who was featured on season 4 of the beloved MTV reality show, shared pictures of her fall-themed wedding, which included the couple’s two children, four-year-old Chase and one-year-old Skylar.
Fans of the show may remember that the bride’s mother didn’t support her interracial relationship with her boyfriend, who she met during her freshman year of high school.
Clearly, the couple didn’t let anything come in the way of their love — though the new Mrs. Zeplin has reassured fans that her mother (pictured below with the newlyweds’ kids) has become much more accepting in recent years."
It's beautiful to see the growing family, 7 years down the line, stronger and happier than ever. Now, they're a family of 7. It seems prophetic that they became a family of 7 the year they celebrate their 7-year anniversary, at least to some fans – others are just soaking in the baby glow.
