Teresa and Joe Giudice

Yesterday, there were two major news items released regarding Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) star Teresa Giudice. First, it was revealed that her divorce from her (now ex) husband, Joe, was finalized. Then, it was reported that Teresa was going to be selling the home that they had shared together- not to mention built together- while on RHONJ. Now, in the wake of this news, Joe has exclusively revealed to CELEB that the pair are back together.

The Divorce

In December of last year, December of last year US Magazine confirmed the news that Teresa and Joe were calling it quits. An insider at the time confirmed the following: “Teresa and Joe have separated, but have no plans to divorce yet. Teresa and Joe talked about their future when she and the girls were in Italy and decided it was best for them to separate.”

“Neither of them wanted to be in a long-distance relationship,” the source continued revealing at the time. “Joe has been dating in Italy, Teresa is busy taking care of their girls right now. They harbor no ill will toward each other and will continue to co-parent their kids. The girls will be going to Italy in December, Teresa will be staying home.”

A story in People had more to add, as a source stated at the time that “They discussed their future when Teresa and the girls went to Italy in early November and they agreed that each had to move on. They are doing so amicably and very slowly.”

“Joe has been out on a few dates,” People‘s insider added at the time. “Teresa has not. She has been too busy with the girls, with work obligations, and taking care of her father. She is happy for Joe. They have been very friendly with one another and are very supportive of each other’s happiness. They still love one another, but as Teresa told Andy Cohen on the WWHL special, they are separated by the Atlantic Ocean. Neither is interested in a long-distance relationship.”

Then, in April of this year, Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga confirmed on an episode of Watch What Happens Live that Teresa was moving ahead with divorce papers.

Divorce Finalized

As aforementioned, it was confirmed yesterday that their divorce was finalized. In a statement to Fox News, attorney Vikki Ziegler (who was the mediator in Teresa and Joe’s divorce settlement) stated that “Joe and Teresa successfully mediated all issues surrounding their marriage through private mediation with me. They are not divorced yet and only have the formality of waiting for the judgment of divorce. The logistics of COVID and long distance were all overcome because the parties were able to compromise and work on the important issues for the benefit of their girls.”

In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, Ziegler had more to say, noting that “I am so proud of Joe and Teresa for working together and resolving all of their matrimonial issues through the  mediation process. Despite the pandemic and difficulty of Joe residing in Italy full time, with the use of technology, the couple was able to work together for the best interests of their children to come to terms on all open topics relative to their marriage.”

“Today Joe and Teresa have demonstrated that they can co-parent despite their marital differences and have a successful relationship in order to raise these beautiful children and show that they can still love and honor one another even if they’re no longer married,” Ziegler added.

Giudice family

Teresa’s attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., also dished to Entertainment Tonight that “This is a family that has endured a tremendous amount of pain and sadness over the last several years, much of which has played out publicly, both on television and in the media.  Today’s news, while bittersweet, is full of optimism and promise for both of their futures.  They will remain in each other’s lives and are completely amicable and focused on their four amazing daughters and being supportive of one another as they embark on their separate journeys toward happiness.”

House For Sale

Yesterday TMZ also reported that Teresa was going to put her house- which is over 10,000 square feet- up for sale. Interestingly, the listing agent is Michelle Pais, who CELEB previously confirmed was taping for the show and being evaluated to potentially join the cast in a full-time capacity.

TMZ spoke to a source who stated that Teresa does plan to remain in North Jersey.

Back Together!

On the heels of the reports of their divorce being finalized and Teresa putting their house up for sale, Joe reached out to CELEB to exclusively share that not all business is finished between Teresa and him.

Specifically, Joe shared that they are actually now business partners in an adult toy line!

“Teresa and I are now focused on our new venture together as partners in Zalo USA!”

“It’s funny,” Joe continued sharing. “I sent her a  care package a few weeks ago. And, now we are back together originally how it all started with the sparks and vibration with sexual wellness products.”

Joe went on to share what made Teresa interested in joining him on this venture, explaining to CELEB that “When I introduced Teresa to Zalo USA, she fell in love with the texture and had a vision to be apart of the team. We will be supportive of one another as we embark on this new journey together to teach self-love to our fans.”

“So I guess you can say we’re back together… just not as husband and wife,” Joe wrapped with telling CELEB, “but as co-parents and business partners.”

The Future

While it’s still somber for fans of the show who followed their story from the beginning to see that their relationship ended up with a divorce- not to mention Giudice having to live in Italy now- it’s nice to see that the pair are still together- albeit in a very unique way.
