An addictive social media app paired with a global quarantine really changed the face of fame. TikTok brought people into the limelight and gave celebrities a run for their money when it came to keeping up with social media attention. Speaking of "keeping up," one of those social media stars even became Kourtney Kardashian's BFF so a lump sum of time. Anyways, I'm sure none of you ever saw Jenna Marble's face (if you even know who that is) plastered around a major city as a result of her YouTube videos, and why would you [at that time]?
So as we said, TikTok changed the face of fame and because of that, a talented set of sisters, Dixie D'Amelio and Charlie D'Amelio, from Norwalk, Connecticut have taken the world by storm. Since rising to fame on the popular app they've been on countless interviews, got their own reality television show, and most recently took over Las Vegas for Dixie's 21st birthday.
A Weekend To Remember
Resorts World Las Vegas hosted Dixie, Charlie with her boyfriend Landon Barker, their parents Heidi and Marc D'Amelio, along with the birthday girl's friends and influencer pals to celebrate her big birthday.
The luxurious resort started the weekend off by giving Dixie a showstopping arrival in their signature Rolls Royce. Her and her family enjoyed dinner together at Carversteak before heading over to Resorts World Las Vegas' iconic LED screen where there was a unique birthday message just for her. At midnight, Dixie's face was seen throughout Las Vegas as she was officially 21.

The morning of, Dixie woke up in luxury. She stayed at one of the resorts Palaces designed to bring guests an unparalleled, first-class experience. The TikTok star because her day relaxing by the pool and later delved in an afternoon brunch. For dinner she and her guests attended dinner at Fuhu, Resorts World contemporary Asian vibe dining destination, accompanied by Dom Perignon.
After dinner, Dixie and her weekend entourage enjoyed a one-of-a-kind firework show before heading to Zouk nightclub where they finished the night. They hung out at a stage table, took photos with the crowd, and later on, the birthday girl found herself behind the DJ with Louis The Child. And this was only Friday.

The following day, Dixie and her crew spent the afternoon at Ayu Dayclub. Transported to Southeast Asia's idyllic islands, the TikTok stars and others partied in their private bungalow before grooving out to DJ Snake, Zouk's resident DJ.
She closed out her weekend with dinner at Wally's Wine & Spirits followed by a night cap at Gatsby's Cocktail Lounge.

Dixie was showered in love by everyone around her- family friends and fans. Her sister, Charlie, shared a carousel of photos with a heart felt caption.
"my sister my best friend my roommate the girl who taught me everything i know made me who i am is 21 today forever appreciative of how you helped me in my darkest times so glad i am the only person on earth that gets the right to call you my sister and forever grateful that i have you as my built in best friend for life i love you forever," wrote the younger D'Amelio.
Her mom also shared a post to her Instagram grid captioning it, "Happy 21st Birthday to my sweet Dixie Jane❤️ I love your more than anything and will always be your biggest cheerleader ❤️ let’s celebrate ♥️♣️♦️♠️ @dixiedamelio"
And, of course her dad joined in writing his own post, "Happy Birthday to the most amazing daughter a dad could ask for. You are an incredible young woman and you make me proud everyday. I can’t believe you are 21! I’m looking forward to having an incredible celebration in Las Vegas with you and our family and friends. I love you Dixie!"
