UPDATE: Furious over her husband’s exploitation of their son Barron for political purposes, Melania Trump is reportedly considering a drastic move that could put their marriage on the line. According to sources shared with RadarOnline.com, the former first lady has issued an ultimatum: either her husband stops using Barron for his political agenda or she walks away from their marriage.
The tensions escalated when Donald Trump shamefully involved their 17-year-old son in his campaign activities, sparking anger and frustration in Melania. Privately pushed to the brink by this action, she has firmly expressed her concerns about the negative impact on Barron’s well-being and the family’s public image.
UPDATE [Aug. 20, 2023]: In the face of mounting speculation about the possibility of former President Donald Trump seeking another term in office, the enduring strength of the United States Constitution comes into focus. With a collective background as devoted students of constitutional law and jurisprudence, we—J. Michael Luttig, a U.S. Court of Appeals judge, and Laurence H. Tribe, a professor of constitutional law—have explored the Constitution’s provisions to unearth an integral safeguard against the threat of a traitorous leader undermining the nation.
The Fourteenth Amendment, ratified in 1868, stands as a pivotal cornerstone in American history, symbolizing a rejuvenated commitment to liberty and democracy. Yet, its Section 3—an often overlooked passage—contains a vital defense mechanism to prevent the collapse of the republic due to a treasonous president.
Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment fundamentally restricts any individual who has previously sworn an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution from attaining future office or wielding authority within the U.S. government. This exclusion applies equally to analogous positions of power in state governments and their subdivisions. The clause serves as a protective barrier against those who, after taking the solemn pledge to support the Constitution, subsequently engage in acts of rebellion, be it through overt insurrection or by offering assistance to adversaries of the Constitution.

UPDATE (July 4, 2023): Melania Trump subpoenaed in Stormy Daniels Case and faces unwanted involvement in husband’s legal troubles.
Former First Lady Melania Trump, who has maintained silence regarding her husband’s legal issues, is now faced with the need to address at least one case after receiving a subpoena in the Stormy Daniels affair. The Manhattan district attorney’s office, as reported by the Associated Press, has expressed interest in Melania’s emails, which have become relevant to the hush-money indictment.
This particular case involving her husband’s alleged affair with an adult-industry actress is undoubtedly one Melania would prefer to avoid. However, investigators are keen on examining her correspondence with Rhona Graff, an executive at the Trump Organization. Adding intrigue to this unexpected twist, former senior adviser to the former first lady and author of “Melania and Me,” Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, revealed intriguing insider details on her Twitter account.
Wolkoff shared that Melania Trump utilized various email addresses, texts, and the encrypted messaging platform Signal to communicate with her and others during her time in the White House. Prosecutors are now seeking access to these communications, presenting a significant development that Melania would prefer to distance herself from.
Original Story (April 6, 2023): Donald Trump is facing an unprecedented challenge as a former President:
Criminal Charges.
Trump was arraigned and indicted on 34 felony charges which come from a 2016 illegally paid hush money settlement to a porn star he allegedly had an affair with, Stormy Daniels.
Trump entered the courtroom looking sullen and embarrassed, immediately pivoting back to his fist-pounding fury and righteous indignation once he returned to Florida Tuesday night.
But there was one person who was conspicuously absent from his side: his wife Melania.

Donald Trump Thanks Family – but Not Melania
What do I think about Melania’s silence and living in an Ivory Tower of Denial?

This week, rumors began swirling that there was trouble in Trump town between Donald and Melania.
That’s because throughout all of his Tuesday legal peril – the court appearance, flight home, and speech at Mar-a-Lago – Melania was conspicuously absent.
During his speech in Florida late Tuesday, Trump paused to thank family, telling the crowd, “I have a son here who’s done a great job and I have another son here who’s done a great job; and Tiffany, and Ivanka. And Baron will be great someday. He’s tall and smart. But I have a great family and they’ve done a fantastic job and we appreciate it very much.”
But no mention of Melania.
And there’s a good reason for that. Sources close to the former First Lady say that her silence towards Donald is her way of coping.
PageSix reports, “Former Melania aide and best friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff — who previously revealed that the former first lady privately referred to Daniels as ‘the porn hooker’ — told Page Six, ‘Melania lives in an ivory tower of denial.’
Wolkoff, a former senior Vogue staffer who was Melania’s adviser until 2018, said of the former first lady’s absence at Mar-a-Lago’s ballroom, ‘I never expected to see her there. Her silence is deliberate, it is her weapon of choice and her protective armor.’
‘Of course she knows about Donald’s affairs, she knows everything. But her silence is her dignity. She will stand by her husband, as she always does. I don’t think Melania is humiliated by his affairs — but she is angry.'”
Melania Isn’t Going Anywhere Though, her Former Aide and Bestie Says
Not many people could bear having their lives ripped open and all their regretful, hateful, humiliating moments splayed out for the world to see. Melania & Donald, a perfect match, could tolerate any amount of ridicule & flick it aside. I interpreted that as her resigning herself…

But despite knowing the kind of person he is and punishing him with a cold shoulder, Wolkoff tells PageSix that Melania won’t leave Donald. “Still she isn’t leaving him. This is a transactional marriage, she knew what she was getting into when she married Donald. Her means of survival is to just act like it never happened.”
She adds, “Privately, Melania says people are just jealous, and she hoped the Stormy Daniels scandal would be swept under the carpet. Her way of coping is to never let her feelings show or affect her. I predict we will see her back at his side at the next social event at Mar-a-Lago.”
Wolkoff’s explanation tracks with what the public knows about Melania’s private motivations, which is precious little.
As First Lady, she was closed-off, distant, and uninvolved. While she did participate in charities and events supporting her husband, Melania was often out of the spotlight or seen at the side of her son, Baron.
And it’s likely she will continue to hold her silence and distance but stay by the former POTUS.
After all, their relationship doesn’t appear to be about love – it appears to be about an agreement, one she’s happy to stick with as long as she receives her end of the bargain.
So the divorce rumors may be premature and unfounded – but her silence is not.
