Despite the looming 2024 election and multiple impending trials, former President Donald Trump opted for a relaxing Labor Day weekend in the Northeast.
Photographs captured the ex-POTUS indulging in a game of golf at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey. He also warmly received a group of supporters on Monday, September 4, at the same venue.
On Truth Social, Trump shared his enthusiasm for the visit, writing, “A very large group of ‘Bikers for Trump’ just left Bedminster. What a great time we all had. The motorcycles were AMAZING, the love and enthusiasm absolutely ‘beyond.’ Thank you all. We must WIN in 2024. MAGA!”
Later in the day, Trump was spotted returning to his Manhattan residence, prompting social media users to jest about the 77-year-old businessman’s carefree demeanor.
Attorney Ron Filipkowski quipped, “It was another day of Trump being so bogged down with a hectic work and campaign schedule to be ready for trial in March,” alongside an image of Trump on the golf course. He also shared a photo of Trump signing autographs for his supporters.
Social media commenters playfully teased Trump, with one writing, “Not much golf where Inmate #PO1135809 is headed,” while another pondered, “I wonder if they will put mini golf in his chosen prison.”
