Kristen Doute: Tom Sandoval ‘Loves the Attention’ from Scandoval Affair

The Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix and Raquel Leviss “Scandoval” has been the talk of the town for “Vanderpump Rules” fans for weeks now.
Ever since news broke that Sandoval was sleeping with Madix’s “pal” Leviss for seven months, the fandom has roiled with speculation, condemnation, and drama.
But Sandoval’s ex-girlfriend and former “Rules” co-star Kristen Doute suggested recently on a podcast that this is exactly the kind of atmosphere that Sandoval loves.
According to Doute, he lives for the attention – even the negative.
Doute recently appeared on a podcast, and revealed her thoughts over the whole Scandoval.
When asked if Sandoval craves attention, Doute quipped, “I think he loves it. I think that he loves the attention, he loves the validation, whether it’s negative or positive, he doesn’t matter to him. And I truly think that right when s— hit the fan, he was probably going to Raquel. And whether or not they’re together anymore, I have no idea about the two of them.”

And Doute muses that Sandoval probably anticipates making a comeback once the dust settles; “But I think he’s also telling himself right now, like, ‘Listen, man, Jax [Taylor] came back from all the bad things he did. Like Kristen came back from it. Like, I’m gonna come back from this. It’ll just take a little bit of time. It doesn’t mean he is the most horrific human on the face of the planet, but he’s certainly a narcissist.”
But, Doute explains, people shouldn’t hold their breath hoping that Sandoval changes his behavior. After all, he has little incentive – and little history of the ability to do so.
Doute said while on the podcast that she worked on herself after being fired from “Vanderpump Rules,” but Sandoval likely won’t; “Hitting rock bottom, which is what you would hope for someone like Tom. Why isn’t this rock bottom where you just start groveling, you really do the work. You really go to therapy, you really look inside, and stop blaming everyone else.”
Sandoval has recently sparked speculation that he may (still?) be dating Leviss.
Eagle-eyed fans saw a picture of Sandoval sitting on a plane, seemingly speaking to someone his phone labels as “Raquel Leviss.”
But it’s actually not clear what their relationship was to begin with, much less what it is now.
Either way, as the dust starts to settle (okay, we’re not there yet) Madix is making out like a boss, with endorsements, endless support from fans, and a bright future.
Sandoval, however, isn’t get the same career boost. But his fans love him nonetheless, and he seems to be reveling in the attention. So maybe it’s not a total loss.
Except, of course, for the part where he utterly broke Madix’s heart. But for someone like Sandoval who keeps blaming Madix for his choices, he may never come to terms with the fact that he’s the one who actually hurt her.
Leviss, meanwhile, is keeping her head down (for now) – and trying to stay out of the way.
