Do you love the grand, modern opulence of the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills? Or the sprawling, elegant Waldorf Astoria Monarch? Of course you do, and now you can get even more out of your Southern California getaway. Both resorts will be offering a private yacht experience that will take visitors away from it all and give breathtaking views of the SoCal coastline and the awe-inspiring Pacific Ocean.
Waldorf Astoria Coastal Voyage
If you’ve ever stood stood on a Waldorf Astoria terrace at the Beverly Hills or Monarch locations, gazed out across the water and thought, “I’d love to set sail for a few hours,” you’re in luck! Now you can enjoy either resort and then take a short voyage across the sea in your very own private yacht. Monarch recently joined the Waldorf Astoria family after it was purchased last year.
A press release for the exciting new service explains; “‘To celebrate Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club joining the Waldorf Astoria family this January, we are excited to partner with the iconic Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills to bring this distinctively Southern California experience to life for our guests,’ said George Munz, general manager at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club. ‘Both properties showcase the best of their destinations through unparalleled, personalized service, and there is no better way to further highlight the beauty of the California coast than with a coastal voyage along the Pacific.’
‘We welcome Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club to the Waldorf Astoria family, and look forward to providing this bespoke new offering to hotel guests as a way to explore what Southern California has to showcase via land and sea,’ said General Manager Vanessa Williams at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills.”
Guests can stay at either resort to take advantage of the Coastal Voyage package, and it includes:
- A 40-foot private yacht.
- Custom Waldorf Astoria amenities.
- Culinary delights and signature cocktails.
- A 3-hour voyage along the gorgeous Southern California Coast.
The package rate is $18,000 and requires a 4 night minimum stay – 2 nights at each resort. To book, visit Waldorf Astoria Coastal Voyage.
Monarch and Beverly Hills
The yacht voyage isn’t the only thing to enjoy about the Monarch and Beverly Hills resorts. They are destination vacations in and of themselves.
The Beverly Hills location offers modern, clean, opulent design nestled amidst the world’s hottest locale. With views of both the ocean and the iconic Beverly Hills valley, a stay in this resort will make you feel like you’re a part of the LA bustle while far enough removed to relax and unwind. The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills has several lounges and dining experiences for guests, all with the signature Waldorf class and luxury. The entire resort boasts state-of-the-art technology for comfort and convenience, and the perfectly appointed rooms run the gamut from the affordable to the opulent, with rates from $808 a night to $4,900 a night and up. But whether you book the traditional double queen room or the Presidential Penthouse, you’ll be treated like royalty at the Beverly Hills resort.
And Monarch is the newest location in the Waldorf Astoria Family. It was announced in October of 2020 that the Hilton portfolio would be growing by one: the Dana Point Monarch resort. Since becoming a Waldorf Astoria property, the Monarch has retain its signature style and elegance but now combines it with the top-of-the-line service and excellence you expect from Waldorf Astoria. With a world-famous golf course, dining, and on-site spa services, the Monarch promises to be the place to get away from the city and breathe. Prices at the Monarch range from $528 a night to $4,497.
Other Waldorf Astoria Locations Already Include Yacht Trips
If you’re considering booking but wondering how well a resort will handle a yacht journey, never fear: there are already other Waldorf Astoria properties that offer private yacht services.
In the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, the yacht ride is part of the experience. You can’t even get to the resort without a private yacht ride; a 45-minute luxurious trip across the azure waters of the Maldives.
And a little closer to the US in Boca Raton, Florida, the Waldorf Astoria location there is an all-inclusive stay, including a collaboration with the local yacht club that offers yacht owners the perfect place to stay.
While the price tag of the Coastal Voyage package insures there won’t be a public rush on reservations, if you want your perfect date you should book as soon as possible.
