This may come as a shock, but it has been more than eight years since the show Mighty Med premiered. Yep, the Disney XD series aired its first episode on October 7, 2013, and we cannot believe how fast time has flown by! It feels like just yesterday that we were all watching Kaz, Oliver, Skylar, Alan and the rest of the gang on our TV screens, so the fact that it’s already been almost a decade since it premiered is seriously making us emotional.
For those who forgot, the show starred Bradley Steven Perry, Jake Short, Paris Berelc, Devan Leos, Carlos Lacamara, Augie Isaac and more. It went on for two epic seasons before it concluded on September 9, 2015, and when it came to an end, it was heartbreaking for everyone. It was about two guys named Kaz and Oliver who worked for a secret hospital for superheroes. Through teamwork and their knowledge of superheroes, they eventually became heroes themselves. It was definitely a huge part of a lot of our childhoods, and not a day goes by that we don’t miss it!
But wait, what is the cast of Mighty Med up to these days, you ask? Well, some went on to launch major careers while others stepped out of the spotlight to start a family of their own. But either way, they’ve all come so far. Here’s what the stars are doing now…
What Is Bradley Steven Perry Doing Now?
After Mighty Med came to an end, Steven Perry continued his role as Kaz in the spin-off series Lab Rats: Elite Force. He also starred in Descendants: Wicked World, Schooled and Hubie Halloween. Then, he took some time off from acting to focus on his education! He attended the University of Southern California, where the actor graduated from in May 2021.
What Is Jake Short Doing Now?
Just like Steven Perry, Short did not slow down after Mighty Med ended. He too went on to star in Lab Rats: Elite Force, as well as All Night, #Roxy, Man of the House, Confessional, The First Team, This Is the Year, Supercool and more. He’s also got a brand new movie called Sex Appeal in the works at the moment, so keep your eyes peeled for him! The good news is, he’s still pretty close with Steven Perry. The former costars still hang out all the time and they even went to Disney Land together to celebrate the show’s anniversary! How cute is that?!
What Is Paris Berelc Doing Now?
Mighty Med was just the beginning for Berelc. Afterwards, she landed roles in Lab Rats: Elite Force, Invisible Sister, WTH: Welcome to Howler, Deadly Scholars, Confessional, Tall Girl, Alexa & Katie, Hubie Halloween, The Crew, Robot Chicken and others. Plus, she also had a brief appearance in The Thundermans! Now, she’s currently working on two new movies called Strangers and 1UP, so she’s certainly got a lot going on at the moment. But that’s not all. She is also an ambassador for an at-home workout company called Phantom, and she also has modeled for some pretty big brands. As for her love life, she dated actor Jack Griffo for three years before they unfortunately split in August 2020. Now, she reportedly has a new boyfriend named Rhys Athayde.
What Is Devan Leos Doing Now?
Leos hasn’t actually acted in anything since Mighty Med went off the air. He doesn’t post much on social media either, so it’s actually pretty hard to know what he’s doing these days! According to his Instagram bio, however, he now works as a publicist for a brand called DDIGITAL, which is described as a “modern elite agency for everyone.” He has also written a few stories for the publication Entrepreneur.
What Is Augie Isaac Doing Now?
Isaac may always be Gus in fans’ hearts, but that didn’t stop him from accomplishing a lot after his time in Mighty Med. He went on to star in I Had a Bloody Good Time at House Harker, School of Rock, This Is Us, The Goldbergs and more. And get this — the former Disney star also stepped into the world of music! He dropped his debut EP, 308, in August 2020, and it’s full of bops, TBH. Between all that, he also found some time to go back to school, and he graduated from high school in 2019.
What Is Carlos Lacamara Doing Now?
Now, fans can catch Lacamara in Heroes Reborn, Bosch, Heartbeat, Aquarius, Major Crimes, Suits, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Resident, Four Good Days, Coffee Cops, Holidate, The Good Doctor, The Goldbergs and more. Plus, he’s currently set to star in a brand new show called The Garcias, which is pretty exciting! He also wrote a musical called Cuba Libre – talk about impressive.
