It’s that time a year again, people! Winter is here, which means it’s time to pull out your Ugg boots and scarves, make yourself a cup of hot chocolate and get ready for some snowball fights! But there’s one thing that trumps everything else when it comes to what we love about winter — and that’s Christmas!

Yep, it’s officially December, which means the holiday is almost upon us. And what better way is there to prepare than by grabbing some blankets, cozying up on the couch and watching one of the classic Christmas flicks?! But wait, where can you stream movies like Elf, Home Alone or The Santa Clause, you ask? Not to worry, you guys, because we’ve got you covered. We went ahead and made you a complete list of all the festive films that you just have to watch this month, and where you can stream them.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

The Grinch

This live-action adaptation of the classic Dr. Seuss children’s book is available to stream on Netflix!  It’s all about a reclusive green Grinch who hates Christmas. He sets out on a plan to ruin Christmas for his whole town by stealing all of their gifts, but faces a few bumps in his plans when he meets the endearing Cindy Lou Who. For those who don’t have Netflix, it’s also available to rent on Amazon Prime, Vudu, YouTube and Google Play.

Elf

Starring Will Ferrell, this hilarious movie is about a human named Buddy who is accidentally transported to the North Pole as a baby. He’s raised by elves, but when he realizes he doesn’t quite fit in, he heads to New York to find his real father. It’s currently available to watch on Starz.

The Polar Express

The Polar Express

You can stream this Christmas classic on AMC+, Sling, Fubo and Philo or rent it on Amazon Prime, YouTube, Google Play and Vudu. Based on the beloved children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg, this movie follows a young boy as he takes a magical train ride to the North Pole.

Love Actually

Unfortunately, Love Actually isn’t available to stream anywhere at the moment, but you can rent it on Amazon Prime, YouTube, Google Play, iTunes and Vudu. This 2003 flick follows nine different (but intertwined) stories in the days leading up to Christmas. It has so many big stars, including Hugh Grant, Kiera Knightley, Liam Neeson and more.

The Santa Clause

The Santa Clause

When Santa Claus accidentally falls off Scott Calvin’s roof, he suddenly has to take over his job. With the help of his son, Charlie, he not only saves Christmas, but learns how to be a much better dad. It’s currently available to stream on Disney+, but for those who aren’t members, you can also rent it from Amazon Prime, YouTube, Google Play, iTunes and Vudu.

Home Alone

Home Alone is definitely a must-see before Christmas! It follows 8-year-old Kevin McCallister, who is in for a shock when he realizes his family accidentally left him home while they went on vacation! Things get complicated when two con men show up and try to rob the McCallister residence. It’s also available to stream on Disney+, and to rent on Amazon Prime, YouTube, Google Play, iTunes and Vudu.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is about a skeleton who lives in Halloweentown. When he accidentally stumbles into Christmastown and discovers there’s more to life than scaring kids, he tries to steal the holiday. It’s available to stream on Disney+. It’s A Wonderful Life

This emotional movie is available to stream for all Amazon Prime members! You can also rent it from YouTube, Google Play, iTunes and Vudu. It’s about a guy named George, who is thinking about jumping off a bridge, when he rescues his guardian angel, Clarence. Clarence then shows him what his town would have looked like if it hadn’t been for all his good deeds over the years.

A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol

You can head over to Disney+ if you want to stream A Christmas Carol. For those who don’t have Disney+, you can rent it on Amazon Prime, YouTube, Google Play, iTunes and Vudu. In the movie, Ebenezer Scrooge is not a fan of Christmas. But ghosts show up and take Scrooge on a journey through his past, present and future in the hope of transforming his bitterness.

Who didn’t watch Frosty the Snowman when they were little?! This 1969 movie, which is only available to purchase on Vudu for $9.99, brings the classic story we all know and love to life. It’s about a snowman who comes alive after he puts on a magical hat!

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph the Red Noses Reindeer

Just like Frosty, Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer is only available to purchase on Vudu. This one is about a reindeer who doesn’t fit in because his nose is different from everyone else’s. But when a big storm hits on Christmas, his light-up red nose helps lead the way.
