The YSL RICO trial, previously paused due to separate murder charges against YSL Polo (Cordarius Dorsey), has now resumed following his conviction. Polo has been found guilty of the murder of Xavier Arlandor Turner, a crime that occurred in January 2020 and was captured on video, serving as crucial evidence in securing his conviction.
The video footage showed Polo fatally shooting Turner at the Old National Village Discount Mall in College Park, Georgia, as reported by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
YSL Polo is already serving a life sentence for his involvement in another murder case from 2019 and has been denied parole in that matter.
The exact sentence Polo will face for the Turner murder remains unclear, but prosecutors are anticipated to seek another life sentence.
Recently, YSL Polo garnered attention due to a video allegedly depicting erratic behavior, prompting Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, to request Polo’s severance from the rest of the YSL RICO defendants. Judge Ural Garrett granted this request, ensuring Young Thug receives a fair trial.
The YSL RICO trial, currently in the discovery phase, is expected to resume shortly.
